Richard Sgroi, PhD

My mathematics education career has spanned working with kindergartners through adults.  At the school level, I have been a teacher, a chairperson, a 6-12 mathematics coordinator, and a K-12 mathematics director.   At the college level, I have taught graduate and undergraduate mathematics and mathematics education courses. I have co-authored ten published mathematics textbooks and written numerous published journal articles. My interest is in finding ways to spark student interest and voice in mathematics through applications.
